It seems that Christmas time is one of the most popular ski transfers from Geneva - and probably elsewhere in Switzerland. In general, families are happy to spend time on the track and take advantage of a white Christmas - especially from countries that do not get much snow! I have always enjoyed a chat with my passengers around Christmas (if not too tired for their flights, that is!) To have, and tell them a little 'Christmas in Geneva.Christmas is a special moment in the world, but there are some unique traditions of Geneva, which always seem to smile.
Geneva Christmas Market
I always feel a little 'left over the Christmas period, when they are busy with ski transfers from Geneva - has an annual Christmas market that attracts big crowds with its festive cheer - I never seem to have time to go. There are arts and crafts from all over Switzerland, and most of the stalls are located in small wooden mini-Chalets along the main shopping street. The smell of gingerbread fills the air, takes people come and try all the sweets and biscuits to be sold - it is quite a sight to behold, and there is plenty of food and beverages are available as well. There are also free, open-air skating rink at the Place du Rhone - is always full of laughter, as people go on the slippery ice.
Trees and Lights
For those looking for some decorations for their Christmas trees, there are a lot ofdifferent ideas - and a lot of different trees, for that matter - during the annual Christmas party. Usually, people think I'm exaggerating when I tell them about the various sculptures and decorations - but they really are. It always seems like a fairy tale of wonder, and often have children myself, turn the car, when I tell it to you ski transfers! Geneva is not only see this as a celebration of trees, though - it also celebrates some of the most unusual decorationsavailable, such as a modern Pac-Man Christmas lights.

However, there is no coincidence that every time I try to describe, people just shake their heads and began to laugh. There must be some attraction, however, families have arrived from all over Geneva and the rest of Switzerland, to attend every year.
